    Asked a member of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Susan Saad said Saturday the government to declare its findings the committee formed to follow up the electricity file.


    [ltr]The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers referred to the concerned authorities Council resolution, which was adopted decisions usual twenty-ninth meeting held on 09.07.2013 and the judge set up a committee under the supervision of the Prime Minister shall follow up and investigate the work of production of electric power and stand on the problems and difficulties that hinder the arrival of electricity production to the quantity necessary to solve the electricity crisis.[/ltr]


    [ltr]Said Saad said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today, "the government announcement of the results reached by the State Committee problem to follow the file electric power and formed by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to follow up and investigate the work of producing electric power.[/ltr]


    [ltr]The Ministry of Electricity has promised in the words of its minister Abdul Karim Aftan on more than one occasion during the opening of a number of power plants that testifies summer of this year 2013 the end of the power crisis in Iraq, and "knock the final nail in the coffin of this crisis and get rid of the electricity generators civil" , according to the minister said.[/ltr]


    [ltr]The Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussain al-Shahristani had discussed last Wednesday with Oil Minister Abdul Karim and coffee and Electricity Minister Abdul Kareem Aftan the appropriate procedures for the delivery of fuel for power plants.[/ltr]

    [ltr]Iraq suffers from a significant lack of electric power in spite of huge money allocated for the rehabilitation of the reality of power, as the value of the funds disbursed about [27] billion dollars, according to some politicians, who say that the majority of this money has gone in the maze of financial and administrative corruption is rampant in the Ministry of Electricity, through fake contracts and others.[/ltr]


    [ltr]The House of Representatives adopted a resolution last July 30, 2012 the privatization of electricity, and building power stations through investment.[/ltr]



    [ltr]The Ministry of Electricity, announced on 28 May 2012 from the termination of the electricity crisis by the year 2013, noting that it continues to implement projects at all levels of production, distribution and transport to reach the stage of export of electric energy in the future.
