US official Monday, March 6 / March reported that several boats of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards approached a US Navy ship in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, forcing the ship to change its course.
He said the official, who asked not to be named, said: "Guard boats Rajaet just 6,000 yards from the USS (Ao.as.an.as Aanfeinsabl) and stopped."
He added that "the US ship was accompanied by three other ships of the British Royal Navy," adding that the composition was forced to change course.
The US official pointed out that attempts were made to reach out across Alllaslki, but without response, pointing out that the boats approached was "unsafe and non-professional."
