    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iran is the third exporter of goods to its country, the trade attaché in the Iraqi embassy in Tehran said in a statement.
    "China ranks first in terms of exports to Iraq and Turkey comes in second place," Razak said in a press statement. "Iran ranked third in terms of exports to Iraq in 2016."
    He added that "further development of relations between Iraq and Iran and participation in exhibitions and dealing between traders and businessmen in both countries."
    He pointed out that "the establishment of several Iranian banks in Iraq, which helps facilitate banking transactions between the two countries."
    For his part, the head of the Iraqi Investment and Consultancy Center, Abdul-Ali al-Yasiri, stressed "the development of trade exchange with Iran", pointing out that "the value of Iranian exports to Iraq is one-fourth of Turkish exports at present."
    "The value of Turkish exports to Iraq reached 20 billion dollars last year, while Iranian exports reached 5 billion dollars," Yasiri said.
