Turkish authorities have announced the start of procedures for the withdrawal of citizenship of 130 people, including the opposition cleric Turkish preacher Fathullah Gulen, and two deputies in the pro-Kurdish Democratic Peoples Party.
The Turkish Interior Ministry said in a statement that the return of these 130 persons to Turkey within three months, starting on Monday, 5 June, will entail the withdrawal of Turkish nationality from them.
