MP: Delay in endorsing General Health law behind spread of expired foodstuffs

[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Falih al-Zayadi, of the Parliamentary Health and Environment Committee attributed the spread of the expired foodstuffs to the delay in endorsing the General Health law draft.[/ltr]
[ltr]Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Iraqi market is full of the expired foodstuffs in addition to the decline in the general health which is resulted by the delay in endorsing the law drafts related to this sector,” calling “The Ministry of Health to expedite sending the General Health law to the parliament to endorse it.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The parliament is waiting for this law since the former term and it is not received yet,” he added, noting that “This law draft will be for the benefit of the citizens because it has strict measures and suits the situation in Iraq.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The health observation needs strict laws such as those of the judicial ones to have a correct performance,” he concluded.[/ltr]
