    The local government in Babylon announced on Saturday the approval of the Ministry of Planning to allocate 100 million dollars of the British loan for the completion of the project Hilla large streams, which stopped work since 2015 due to lack of liquidity and lack of funding, explaining that the amount will be allocated within the budget of the Ministry for 2018, (159) at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 17/5/2017.
    "The Ministry of Planning has approved the allocation of $ 100 million from the British loan for the Hilla Great Sewage Project. The ministry has sent a letter to the council of advisers in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers informing them of the allocation and confirming the coordination between the Ministry of Planning With the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Municipalities to determine the total cost of the project and the amount will be within the budget of the Ministry of Planning for 2018. 
    The Sultan said that "a delegation from the local government administration representative of the President of the provincial council and governor met with Minister of Planning Salman Jumaili, who confirmed that his ministry allocated funds for the project Hilla large, which is one of the most important projects of the province of strategic.
    In turn, the head of the provincial council, Raad Hamza al-Jubouri, said in an interview with "Al-Mada" that "the Ministry of Planning decided to allocate $ 100 million of the British loan for the implementation of the Hilla large sewer project and Cabinet Resolution No. 159 in its session held on 17/5/2017 "He said. 
    He pointed out that "the visits and many meetings carried out by the local government for decision-makers in Baghdad and the most recent in the morning of Monday, October 16 with the Minister of Planning and a number of committees in the relevant prime minister." 
    And Jubouri that "the Ministry of Planning directed a letter to the advisers for the purpose of working to coordinate with the Ministry of Public Municipalities and Housing to determine the total cost of the project and be included in the budget of 2018."
    Al-Jubouri said that "this step needs continuous follow-up by the local government for the purpose of maintaining it and the ongoing work to accelerate the start of the completion of this project, which is one of the pilot projects in the province of Babylon, which would serve the people of the province of Babylon and the Council held several meetings and in the presence of the executive government to study the subject and All problems and difficulties ".

    He added that the local government of Babylon addressed the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the ministries concerned and held meetings to introduce the draft large sewerage projects as part of projects to pay the importance of the project for the province and finally allocated amounts of the British loan.
