The chief of staff of the Iranian armed forces, Major General Mohammad Baqri, stressed the necessity of following up the issue of easing the burden and costs of travel to visitors of Imam Hussein through coordination with Iraq to reopen some border crossings.
The Iranian media said that Baqeri stressed at the meeting of the headquarters of the 40 stressed the need to reopen "the borders of Khosravi" and "Gelat," indicating the acceptance of the Iraqi side, and therefore must be reopened crossing "Khosravi" border in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the movement back to the region .
