    The Committee on Economy and Investment parliamentary, the existence of reductions in the salaries of employees of government institutions and the state within the financial budget for 2018, while the Finance Committee confirmed the full insurance of state employees, explained that the rate of deductions were retained as stated in the budget of 2017. 
    "The government has not raised through the draft budget law sent to the House of Representatives to reduce the salaries of employees, but to maintain the rates of reduction of previous salaries themselves," said member of the committee Abdul Salam al-Maliki. 
    He explained that "the issue of reducing salaries does not bear a fixed economic feasibility and try to improve the situation of the country," noting that "the accounts included in the budget is fixed and no different by two." 
    He added that "operational salaries are defined in the budget in addition to that the investment ratios are specific as the country is going through austerity and the difficult financial situation, especially that oil prices are different," pointing out that "we will not allow any deduction of salaries of employees in the new budget."
    For her part, confirmed the member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Najiba Najib for "range", that "the federal government able to pay the salaries of employees and non-employees in the budget of 2018," noting that "the federal government will not cut financial ratios of salaries of employees in the new budget and maintain the previous deductions "He said. 
    "The government has a million and 247,000 are not employees, but they depend on the government to pay their salaries," she said. 
    She pointed out that "these segments are the families of the martyrs and families of political prisoners and the social welfare network in the Ministry of Labor and the military in the security forces." 
    "The government has the financial means to pay salaries to the people, including the Kurdistan region."
    For his part, the economic expert Bassem Jameel Antoine for "the term", in the "if the salaries were reduced by the government there will be negative economic situations on the domestic market," pointing out that "the reduction of salaries of employees in the next budget will pay a lot of employees take the leave of four years "He said. 
    "Not all employees take high salaries, but there are employees who receive salaries from 200 thousand to 500 thousand dinars, and if reduced, those salaries will not benefit the owners to live."
