    WASHINGTON (

Reuters) - US President Donald Trump signed the law on tax cuts for companies and taxpayers after Congress passed this week to be effective from 2018.

Trump signed the law in the oval office before photographers leave before leaving for Maralago, Florida .

"We will wait until the seventh or eighth of January for an official ceremony, but all the television channels were wondering if I would fulfill my promise and sign the law before Christmas. So I immediately asked for it to be prepared. "

"A family of four who earn $ 75,000 will be taxed more than $ 2,000. They will start to notice that in February. "

Congress approved the majority of the Republican law last Wednesday. "The biggest financial reform in a generation has been included in the law," Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan said in a statement. "As we promised, Americans will start a year with a new tax law."

Trump also signed a separate law providing for temporary funding for federal state authorities until Jan. 19.

The law also monitors $ 4 billion for the purchase of missiles and the construction of a new missile base in Alaska.

A US judge has filed a legal complaint accusing Trump of violating a law that prevents employees from accepting money from foreign governments through his real estate empire.

Federal Judge George Daniels said yesterday that the Citizens for Reconciliation and Ethics (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics), which filed the complaint, did not represent any victim of the alleged violation of the law, and therefore no legal action was allowed.

The judge stressed that it was up to Congress not to judge whether the president could "continue to receive proceeds from his work with foreign governments without the approval of Congress."

The organization filed a complaint after the inauguration of the billionaire president in January, and received the support of prominent jurists and specialists in US constitutional law.

The organization accuses Trump of violating an article in the constitution by continuing to receive "money and privileges from foreign governments, hotel guests, real estate leases and real estate transactions abroad."

An article in the US Constitution states that no person with an official position can accept, without congressional approval, "a gift, a fee, a job, a title from a king, a prince, or a foreign state."

The court is considering other complaints against Trump over his work at the Trump Organization, keeping his quota intact, even though it was handed over to his sons Donald, the son and Eric.

Washington and the state of Maryland also filed a lawsuit in June against Trump accusing him of violating the constitution.

In addition to the investigation by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller about possible "coordination" of his campaign team with Russian officials, one of the women who accuses him of sexual harassment filed a complaint accusing him of defamation.

Samer Zerfos, the former candidate for the reality television program "The Abrantes" presented by Donald Trump between 2004 and 2015, confirmed in October 2016 that the businessman had fondled her and tried to accept her by force in 2007 at a hotel in Los Angeles.

Judge Jennifer Schichter will soon decide whether or not to accept the case.
