International calls to expel the UAE from the Human Rights Council

The United Nations General Assembly, UN General Assembly and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for the expulsion of the UAE from the Human Rights Council in Geneva, which is participating as an observer.
The International Campaign said in a statement that it "comes after the expulsion of the UAE in repressive and reprehensible behavior" of more Syrian refugees from its territory last week, bringing the number expelled to seven thousand people in three months only.
She stressed that the UAE "has become a rogue state with no regard for human rights or the principles on which it was built, and is carrying out disgraceful acts against displaced refugees who are unable to return to their homeland, including children, infants and old sheikhs." Forcibly without taking into account any rights, knowing that the family had received a new birth two days before deportation.
The campaign stressed that "the international community and international civil society organizations must try and isolate the UAE from participating in any human rights related meetings or deliberations because of its crimes against human rights, whether in Yemen or because of its actions against Syrian refugees."
