The Ministry of Planning and Development Cooperation will launch next week its anti-poverty strategy, which aims to reduce its rates by 25%.
"The next Sunday, the fourth of this month, will see the start of the implementation of this strategy, which includes a set of basic objectives to improve the situation of the poor within the so-called multi-dimensional poverty eradication, namely the areas of health, housing, education, income and protection," ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said in a press statement. He added: "A new goal added to this strategy is the displaced and the creation of optimal conditions for their return to their liberated homes, and provide the requirements of life."
