[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - A member of the parliamentary finance committee revealed that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi formed a committee to discuss the share of the Kurds in the financial budget for 2018.
"Two meetings were held with Abadi on Thursday, during which many issues were discussed between Arbil and Baghdad," said member of the committee Massoud Haider in his page on the social networking site Facebook.
He explained that "the share of the Kurds and the budget of the Peshmerga and salaries of employees of Kurdistan and Halabja province, were among the issues that were discussed, in addition to the issue of the attempt to Arabization of Kirkuk and ethnic genocide in Tuzkhurmatu, where Abadi said attempts to Arabization stopped in the areas of disputes over property, "What happened in Khurmato is a big mistake and we have to return the people and compensate them."
On the benefits of farmers in the Kurdistan region, Haider stressed that "the Ministry of Commerce will be contacted to obtain the latest information on the time and mechanism of payment of dues to farmers, in addition to looking at the salaries of all federal services."
On the salaries of education and health, Haidar pointed out that "the Prime Minister confirmed that the amount of 250 billion dinars in the central bank in the region is the salaries of employees and they are waiting for the report of the Audit Committee and then ordering the dismissal.
He pointed out that "the last debate was on the federal budget and the general and on the proposal put forward personally during the meeting, the Prime Minister decided to form a technical committee of the Kurdish members of the Finance Committee and the Federal Ministry of Finance, to discuss the share of the Kurds in the federal budget for the year 2018.Finished
