    Information / Baghdad ..
Basra Governorate Council on Thursday called on the central government to share the province of petrodollar and revenues of border crossings, stressing that the province did not get its share of the budget according to the law.
"Basra is supposed to get 10 percent of its share of the petrodollar," said a member of the provincial council, Ahmed al-Sulaiti, in a statement to Al-Maaloumah. "The ratio was put in the budget that has not yet been voted on."
Al-Sulaiti said that "the share of the proposed Basra is 330 billion of the total 3 trillion dinars," noting that "the amount mentioned may not reach to Basra, but just a number in the budget."
He explained that "the province of Basra does not get its share of the revenues of the border crossings," stressing that "the law provides for Basra to receive 50% of the imports of border crossings."
"Al-Sulaiti said that" Basra suffers from poor funding and lack of revenue and lack of it, "calling for" to maintain its quota according to the law of the petrodollar and imports of border crossings. " Ending / 25
