[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD - The Federal Supreme Court has announced that the general budget for the fiscal year 2017 has ended, asserting that it is not possible to challenge unconstitutionality in one of its texts.
"The Supreme Federal Court held its session in the presence of all its members and considered a case set up by the Minister of Foreign Affairs in addition to his duties to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, in addition to his role to challenge the unconstitutionality of Article 32 / V / C, Of the Federal Budget Act of 2017 ".
He added that "the court confirmed that its terms of reference include the control of the constitutionality of laws and decisions and regulations in force."
He pointed out that "the court responded to the lawsuit that the Financial Budget Law of 2017, has been implemented, and no longer in force on 1/1/2018, can not appeal its articles before the Federal Supreme Court at the present time because its competences provided for in paragraph (first) Article (93) of the Constitution limited to the consideration of appeals unconstitutional legislation in force.
