Egypt agrees with French Enge to supply 3 shipments of LNG
Egypt has agreed with France's Enge to supply three liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments in the second quarter of 2018, Egypt's Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) said on Sunday .
Commercial sources told Reuters in January that EGAS arranged to receive five liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments to Egypt in the second quarter of 2018 .
"The agreement was made on only three shipments in the second quarter of this year with Enji to provide the country with natural gas needs, " a source in Agas told Reuters on Sunday .
Egypt's demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG) is expected to shrink this year after the start of production from several large gas fields and the country is trying to stop imports by 2019 with self-sufficiency at the end of this year.
