A deputy close to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said on Wednesday that the latter requested the survival of Iranian military experts in Iraq after the "brilliant success" they achieved in the war against "Daash," stressing that they have direct contact with Abadi.
"The Iranian advisers were always on the front line of the fighting fronts against Da'ash, and from the front lines of the fighting they were providing advice and assistance, so their presence was essential and significant," MP Jassim Mohammad Jaafar said in an interview with the official IRNA news agency. .
Jafar added that "it is natural when there is a request from the Prime Minister and the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Haider al-Abbadi, the need for the presence of Iranian experts in Iraq," noting that "the presence of these experts is a legal presence and fundamental in Iraq."
Jaafar pointed out that "the Iranian experts in Iraq have direct contact with the commander-in-chief of the Iraqi armed forces and leaders involved in the fight against Saddam in Iraq." Ending / 25
