    The governor of Basra, Eng. As'ad al-Eidani, that he was surprised on the first day of taking over his duties as governor of the local government, the funds estimated at 160 billion dinars, noting that this made him confused about how to provide services to the people of the city in the absence of sufficient funds . 

    He said, "Eidani," in a press statement, that more than six months passed on Basra and the conditions are very difficult at all levels in light of the financial crisis. 

    He added that "the difficulties faced by his duties as governor of Basra, large and accumulated since the fall of the former regime so far," pointing out that despite these problems, they did not stand in the way of the work of the local government to provide the best possible and as much as possible.  

    He called the "Eidani" sons of Basra, who have a great awareness that they are not affiliated to any one, stressing that Basra for the Egyptians and not for others and this is a base we are going to build the province. He continued: "In previous statements we stressed that Basra is not affiliated to anyone and we build its real character.
