"The company aims to raise the production capacity of crude oil in the field to 230 thousand barrels per day by 2020," explained Suhaimi Abdullah, Chief Executive Officer of Al Gharaf Operations in Petronas. "The support of the Dhi Qar oil company is very important for the success of the Gharraf field Oil to reach this goal. "
He added: "Petronas is continuing to implement training programs on the operation of more people in the province of Dhi Qar," adding that the total number of trainees to 80 trainees in the production processes, a large number of Iraqi trainees who have shown success in the program.
"The POT program aims to accelerate the development of Iraqis' capabilities to ensure their readiness for the future operations of the Gharraf oil field. The program has witnessed tremendous progress not only in terms of the expertise and skills of the technical trainees, but also in their proficiency in the English language."
