Trump chases "threatened" for the 2026 World Cup

US President Donald Trump on his social networking site Twitter announced his support for the unified offer from the North, Central American and Caribbean Association to host the 2026 World Cup and posed a veiled threat to countries that might oppose it.
Morocco is competing against the united offer from the United States, Canada and Mexico, and the winner will be chosen at the FIFA General Assembly meeting on June 13 in Moscow.
"It would be shameful for countries that we always support to oppose the US offer," Trump wrote. Why should we support these countries while they do not support us? (Including in the United Nations)? ".
North America relies on big stadiums and excellent infrastructure, but does not guarantee a win in June.
The Moroccan offer is expected to receive strong support from African and Middle Eastern countries.
The president of the French Confederation of Media said recently that his country would support Morocco, and Russia, which hosts the finals in June and July, announced its support for Morocco.
America hosted the World Cup in 1994.
