    Funding of Syrian refugees in Iraq is very low

     
     
    The UN's High Commissioner for Refugees, Monica Nuru, said that Kuwait would help resolve a problem in Iraq related to refugees.


    "Funding for Syrian refugees in Iraq is very low," Nuro said in a statement.


    "Kuwait's contribution will provide a more sustainable solution for refugees and host communities in Iraq," she added.

    The State of Kuwait recently hosted a conference on the reconstruction of Iraq last February, where donor countries and non-governmental organizations and international financial institutions pledged to allocate $ 30 billion to contribute to the reconstruction process, especially the areas liberated from the grip of a sympathetic organization.


    The Kurdistan region embraces about a quarter of a million Syrians, as they fled the difficult security situation in their country.
