Jordanian Transport Minister Walid al-Masri on Saturday revealed the intention of his ministry to establish a joint transport company between the private sector of Iraq and Jordan.
Al-Masri said in a press statement that the establishment of this company will revive the trade movement between the two countries, especially as it is witnessing remarkable activity between Iraq and Jordan at present in all fields, including the arrival of containers to Iraq through the Jordanian port of Aqaba.
The Jordanian minister of transport announced yesterday that an Iraqi technical delegation from the Ministry of Transport, Customs and Border will meet in Jordan on Sunday with a Jordanian delegation to sign a new agreement that will solve and overcome the obstacles facing the traffic and trade exchange between the two countries.
