    China has expressed its displeasure with including the huge US defense budget of 2019, negative items towards Beijing, and put them side by side with Iran and North Korea as countries that pose a threat to the United States.
    Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said that China strongly deplores the United States' inclusion of the defense budget for 2019 as negative for China.
    "China has repeatedly expressed its position on this issue and has given the US side a written speech protesting the negative view," said Lu Kang, published on the State Department's website.
    "We are very dissatisfied with the United States ignoring China's disregard for and disregard for any interest in the adoption and signing of the Defense Act (Military Budget) for fiscal year 2019, which contains negative content about China," he said.
    "We call on the US side to objectively deal with China, China-US relations, strict adherence to the one-China principle and the three Sino-US communiques, not to implement the negative provisions of the law in practice so as not to harm China-US relations, Bilateral cooperation in many important areas. "
    In US law, China, along with Iran and North Korea, has been classified as one of the adversaries, including in cyberspace. The law also provides for measures to develop US capabilities capable of directing a "quick strike from conventional weapons" in response to Russia and China developing new, supersonic weapons at times.
    On Monday, US President Donald Trump signed a record $ 716 billion defense budget bill for 2019.
