Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Shirifi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend expected endorsing the Parties law in the next parliamentary term.
In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The Parties law will not be endorsing during the remaining short period of the current parliamentary term where it will be endorsed in the next parliamentary term.”
“We hoped to endorse it before endorsing the Elections law for 2014, but unfortunately some tensions resulted in postponing it,” he added.
“The blocs hindered endorsing this law, do not want to reveal the sides financing them and others want to get more benefits from the parliament where this law does not serve them,” he concluded.
