The MP Mohammad Tamim suspended his candidacy in the first stage to be nominated in the second phase of the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Salahuddin Ahmed Abdul Aziz, Secretary General of the House of Representatives to limit the nomination for the post of Speaker of the House of Representatives to each of the deputies Talal Zobaie and Osama Najafi, Khalid al-Obeidi and Mohamed Khalidi Mohammed Al Halbusi and Thunder Dahlaki.
The candidates for the post of President of the Council of Representatives gave a brief about the biography of their lives and the positions they have grown up and their programs and vision reform in the event of assuming the post of President of the Council, then read MP Faleh Khazali a statement on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein on the tenth of Muharram (Ashura), referring to Imam Hussein, He called for following his steps in achieving reform and living in dignity, pointing out the importance of working to serve the people and their aspirations and form a government of service and services.
For his part, Mohammad Ali Zinni stressed the importance of the consideration of the sacrifice of Imam Hussein (p) and work on serving the Iraqi people after the MP Mohammed Zinni, head of the age of the withdrawal of deputies Raad Aldalki and Talal Zobaie from the list of candidates for the post of Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The head of the age also provided the names of deputies Ahmad Hama Rashid and Muthanna Amin and Bashir Khalil Tawfiq to run for the second deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
The President of the Age decided to hold the second round of the election of the Vice-President of the Council between the two candidates the highest votes after the MP Muthana Amin 21 votes and MP Ahmad Hama Rashid 45 votes and the deputy Bashir Khalil Haddad 152 votes while 29 were recorded blank papers and 22 invalid papers out of 268 votes . It was decided to hold the meeting on Sunday at 1 pm
