Iraqi deputy: Washington's withdrawal of its troops from Syria expresses its desperation to topple Assad

"The decision by the United States to withdraw its forces from Syria reflects its arrival at the stage of despair over the possibility of toppling the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad over the past years," Qadu said in a statement.
"The withdrawal of US forces also reflects the existence of fear of being exposed to any danger or targeting," he said, adding that "America also distanced itself from supporting the Kurds in Syria."
