The agency said in a press statement: "This decision was the result of the continued efforts of the Bank of Iraq in the implementation of its comprehensive program of economic reform."
"There are several factors that led to a positive assessment of the bank, notably improving the growth prospects, the business environment and the security situation, in addition to reducing the budget deficit and thus reducing the debt ratio of GDP in the medium term."
