    The President of the Republic Barham Saleh, on Monday, to develop plans to improve the agricultural reality and support the farmers. 
    "The President of the Republic received at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, Governor, Chairman and members of the Diwaniyah provincial council, and a number of the city's dignitaries," a statement from Saleh's office said. 
    Saleh said during the meeting that "the next phase, and what we are witnessing today, of political events and international developments in the region calls for strengthening national unity, unifying the ranks and strengthening the social fabric among our people to meet those challenges," adding that "terrorist forces represented gangs, Sow sedition between all the components, but the vigilance and determination of our people on the synergy and national unity have thwarted those schemes. "
    He stressed "the importance of exerting maximum efforts to provide the best services to citizens and provide the basic elements of decent livelihoods for them," calling for "to develop plans to improve the agricultural reality and support farmers and farmers and disbursement of all dues, and secure financial allocations to rehabilitate the infrastructure of the city, Sustainable development and job creation for the people of Diwaniyah ". 
    He pointed to "the historical and cultural status of the city of Diwaniyah," praising the "sacrifices of the people of the city in defense of the country like the rest of the people of the provinces." 
    Saleh stressed that "the presidency of the Republic supports finding solutions to their legitimate demands and realizing their aspirations for a free and dignified life," pointing out that "democracy is important but should not extend to the disruption of the state."
