    Maliki said in a statement that "the consultative meeting held at the Palace of Peace is an important step to create an environment conducive to the achievement of chances of positive success in the next phase," noting that "convergence and cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities is necessary to resolve all problems and support the government to achieve the highest degrees of success And provide services to citizens. " 
    Maliki said that "the House of Representatives today in the inclusion of forty draft law ready to vote and we will pass it during the next legislative term, because all are in the interest of the citizen and provide services to him."
    He pointed out that "the House of Representatives intends to legislate a law to regulate the work of foreign forces within the country in a way that preserves sovereignty and prevents the use of our territory to attack the countries of the region in addition to finding mechanisms to pass the laws suspended from previous sessions in coordination with the legislative authority." 
    Maliki stressed that "the resolution of the presidencies of the committees and the completion of the ministerial cab will have a full space during the first sessions of the next legislative term."

    MP on the coalition of state law, Abdul Salam al-Maliki , on Friday, the number of laws ready to vote during the next legislative term, while stressing that the rapprochement and cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities is necessary.

    The Presidency of the House of Representatives announced on 26 January 2019 the end of the first legislative term of the House of Representatives after the vote on the federal budget for fiscal year 2019.
