BAGHDAD (Reuters

"We have already issued an urgent statement following the bombings in the province of Kirkuk, in which we stressed the need to take the highest levels of caution and review security plans and start preemptive operations against sleeper cells that try to rearrange their ranks to target citizens and security forces," al-Kaabi said in a statement.
He added that "what was witnessed by the Tarmiyah area yesterday from the targeting of the Iraqi army, and attempts to enter the suicide bombers and the attack Da'ashi in areas of Al-Nasr and Al-Qaim and others, calls for urgent and practical positions of all, especially the presidencies and senior security leaders in front of the responsibility to save lives and take all methods to deter terrorism and accountability of the defaulters.
He called on "the commander-in-chief of the armed forces to take urgent guidance on the launch of pre-emptive and large-scale security operations to strike dormant terrorist cells and activate the intelligence role in the belt areas of Baghdad and surrounding areas."
Al-Kaabi stressed "the tightening of security measures in areas where frequent security breaches in the capital and other provinces to speed clearance, in addition to fortifying the border strip in cooperation with the air units." End 25 T
