Hakim: Baghdad will soon make a formal request for Syria's return to the Arab League

Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim said on Saturday his country would soon make a formal request for Syria's return to the Arab League.
Hakim Khatami chaired an emergency meeting of foreign ministers of the Arab League to discuss the positions on the Turkish military operation in northern Syria.
During the final statement of the meeting, al-Hakim stressed the desire of many Arab countries for Syria to return to its seat again.
