Member of the Parliamentary Committee Hassan Fadam revealed today, Tuesday, that his committee voted on 45 articles in the new draft election law.

He said in a press statement, which was followed by "The Trend Press", that "Parliamentary law in yesterday's meeting voted on 45 articles while only five articles are still under discussion," noting that "holding elections according to multiple constituencies needs more than two years."

He added, “Parliamentary law ended the discussion of 45 articles and voted on them, while it postponed voting on only 5 articles left of this law in preparation to present it to Parliament.” Emphasizing that “the agreement is to be in accordance with the various constituencies and at a rate of 100 percent for the highest votes, and these are two basic requirements in this.” Law".

The Legal Committee held in Parliament yesterday, Monday, a meeting chaired by the first deputy of Halbousi Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi to discuss the new election law, while Al-Kaabi directed the heads of parliamentary blocs to hold a meeting today to resolve the proposals received from the various blocs regarding the election law.
