    {Politics: Al Furat News} Member of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, Salim Hamza, affirmed that the House of Representatives vote on the election law obliges the commission to implement it.

    Hamzah said in a press statement, that the old law obliges the candidate to have lived for ten years in a certain governorate so that he can run for office there.
    He pointed out that the election law has witnessed many objections, requests have been submitted to amend it, and signatures have been collected for that, but the time is no longer available to proceed with this matter.
