Parliamentary among them holds Shiite blocs responsible for not endorsing the legislative elections law

Shafaq News / The deputy of the "Sadqoun" parliamentary bloc, Uday Awad, on Friday blamed the Shiite blocs for not approving the election law, noting that some political blocs declare their loyalty to the law and hide the opposite.
Awad said in a press statement issued by his media office today, that "who bears responsibility for not passing the election law by adopting multiple electoral districts are Shiite blocs," noting that "Shiite blocs have a majority in the House of Representatives and can pass the law if it is one vote."
He pointed out that "the withdrawal of the Kurdish blocs and some Sunni blocs from the voting session on the election law and breaking the quorum that led to the disruption of the vote on the law."
Awad said that "the withdrawal of the Kurdish and Sunni blocs will not affect the quorum of the law in the event that all Shiite blocs attend." Noting that the Shiite blocs are apparently with the decision and also in secret also against this decision because they will lose their seats and know that the decision will be opposed by the Kurds and therefore the Shiite blocs were keen On the condition that some of their deputies do not attend the session in order to delude the people and the public opinion that the Kurds have a quorum, and this is really what happened. "
He added, "The legal and national duty obliges me to inform the public opinion of this fact," "The sermons of the rational authority are very clear by adopting a law that is closer to the citizen than their representative, but there is no life for those who call."
The Iraqi parliament failed this week to pass the law due to differences between the parliamentary blocs.
