Najaf agriculture: Marketing 140,000 tons of paddy crops

The Directorate of Agriculture of Najaf, on Wednesday, announced the marketing of more than 140,000 tons of paddy crops, with its various varieties, throughout the agricultural areas in the governorate.
The province's director of agriculture, Majeed Jassem, said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "the agricultural season of the paddy crop with its three approved varieties (amber, jasmine, and Euphrates) witnessed this year abundant production, with a total of 140 thousand tons and 751 kg marketed."
Jassem added that "the Directorate of Agriculture has drawn up a plan for this year that has made the paddy crop up to this percentage of production as 212,000 dunams have been planted." Ended / 25
