[rtl]Member of the Iraqi Economic Council, Ghadeer Al-Attar, warned today, Monday, of the danger of delaying the approval of the 2020 budget on the national economy, stressing that this will hinder projects and cause economic stagnation.[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Attar said in a statement, "Tomorrow Press" received a copy of it, that "according to information from the Parliamentary Finance Committee, the resigned government headed by Adel Abdul Mahdi has completed the preparation of the federal financial budget for 2020 two days before its resignation."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "the subject of the government's resignation and the general situation in the country has delayed its transmission to the House of Representatives."[/rtl]
[rtl]And that "damages from the delay in approving the financial budget, as the burden on citizens and services increases, and the possibility of delay in the payment of salaries to state employees in addition to obstructing projects as well as causing economic stagnation."[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Attar said that "the country depends entirely on the budget because 93% of the oil resources go to feed the budget, which means that Iraq’s money goes to it and it has not yet been legislated."[/rtl]
