Former Speaker of Parliament Salim al-Jubouri revealed today, Sunday, that the Americans have made every effort to include all Sunni politicians in the Reform Alliance that was formed after the 2018 elections.
And Jubouri said in an interview with "Al-Ahd" channel and followed by "Al-Ahd News" agency, "The Americans considered the building alliance Iranian and reform is not Iranian, and I was bothered by the deception practiced by some of the parties in the reform coalition towards us."
He added, "Our share was the Vice President and the Ministry of Youth, who inadvertently took away from us Sunnis, asking to increase their ministerial share in exchange for their abdication of the position of Vice President," noting that "the confusion that afflicted the Shiites negatively affected Iraq."
And he continued, “Some parties invested the Shiite confusion to hide the features of the Sunni partner and some of the blocs sought to attribute some of Al-Kazemi’s ministers to it. In the government of Abdul-Mahdi, I took the result of a promise that Al-Halbousi made.
