    A member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Jamal Al-Muhammadawi, called, Tuesday ( March 9 ,  2021 ), the Iraqi Fund for Recovery of Funds of the Council of Ministers, and the Ministry of Oil to exert more efforts to resolve the fate of four Iraqi oil tankers detained in Kuwait, and four sea embankments, two of which are submerged in regional waters and the other is detained At Iran. 
    Documents issued by Al-Muhammadawi’s office, and  IQ NEWS obtained a copy of them, stated, “A reference to the report of the Federal Office of Financial Supervision on (5/24/2018) regarding the financial statements of the Iraqi Oil Tanker Company, within the balance of a means of transportation account as in the book dated on ( 12/31/2016) an amount (forty-three million nine hundred seventy-three thousand dinars) in (the nineties of the last century) representing the value of four giant oil tankers held in the State of Kuwait and four chapels, two of which were submerged in regional waters and the other was held in Iran. 
    The documents indicated, "The tankers are the Tariq bin Ziyad, the Al-Mutanabi tanker, the Al-Qadisiyah and the Hattin, which have been held in Kuwait since the events of  1991. "
    She explained, "  Junaiba, June  1 and April 7 , were detained in Iran before the events of 1991, and that Junaybah al-Nasr and Adar were submerged in the territorial waters." 
    Al-Muhammadawi emphasized, according to the documents, that "the issue of detained tankers and sunken and detained deputies has not been resolved regarding their treatment in the company's financial records despite the large number of communications since  1998. "
    Muhammadawi pointed out that " the Kuwaiti side considered those ships spoils that war , like weapons and equipment left by the war, according to what claim the financial section of the oil tanker company by typing a number ( 36 ) in ( 29 /  3 / 2017 )."  
    He continued by saying, "Comparing the Federal Office of Financial Supervision for the total of the current company's ( 4 ) carriers with the total tonnages of the detained tankers. The Bureau noticed the small percentage, reaching ( 9 %), which indicates that the company lost ( 91 %) of its capacity that was available to it from Its owned tankers before those tankers were seized. " 
    And between, that " the answer to the Ministry of Oil on  23 /  2 / 2021 indicates that stopped work on the subject of tankers seized in Kuwait and Iran , the Committee was due to the guidance of the Fund for a refund of Iraq's Council of Ministers, containing suspended the work of any committee or team or delegation problem similar to the goals of the objectives box". 
    Al-Muhammadawi called the Iraq Fund to Recover Fund to "make more efforts with regard to the detained tankers and cabins, by approaching the concerned authorities because of their great impact on the company's activities and the national economic support."
