Today, Sunday 18/4/2021, Al-Waqi’a Official Gazette published the fiscal budget law for 2021.
By publishing the law in the official newspaper, the fiscal budget law is considered enforceable and the law will come into effect from today.
The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, approved the fiscal budget law for 2021.
The House of Representatives voted on the fiscal budget for 2021 after agreement on it between the components.
MP Shirwan Mirza, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, said earlier today, Sunday, during a special statement to PUKmedia: The Federal Budget Law for 2021 will enter into force after its publication in the Iraqi newspaper Al-Waqaei.
Mirza explained that according to the federal budget law for the year 2021, the Kurdistan Regional Government must hand over 460 thousand barrels of oil per day and half of non-oil imports to the federal government, from which 210 thousand barrels are deducted to pay the dues of oil companies and internal use, and the delivery of 250 thousand barrels to SOMO To export oil, in return, the federal government pays the Kurdistan Region’s share, which is 13.9% of the budget, or about 11 trillion dinars.
