Saleh receives a written message from Macron, revealing its content

{Political: Al Furat News} The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received today, Wednesday, a written message from his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
A presidential statement, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that Saleh "received today at the Peace Palace in Baghdad the French Ambassador to Iraq Eric Chevalier. Iraqi cities, and his appreciation for the efforts made by Iraq to support its security and internal stability and its tireless efforts to establish peace in the region and ease its tensions.
Through the ambassador, President Saleh conveyed his greetings to President Macron, stressing Iraq's aspiration to strengthen and develop bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them towards more joint bilateral cooperation to serve the common interests of the two peoples, and work to establish peace in the region.
Saleh stressed that Iraq's balanced policy is based on supporting its security and stability and restoring Iraq to its pivotal active role in the region, adding that Iraq looks forward to cooperation in issues of combating terrorism, economic and commercial cooperation, and working closely in the field of environmental protection and addressing the significant effects of climate change.
