{Political: Al-Furat News} The head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi Al-Amiri, condemned the targeting of the house of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, while warning that there is a third party behind the attempt to assassinate him to create sedition.
Al-Amiri said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, "We strongly condemn the targeting of the Prime Minister's house last night, and we call on the competent authorities to investigate the matter, verify the facts, reveal who is behind it, and hold him accountable, whoever it is."
And he warned that "a third party is behind the event in order to mix the cards and create sedition."
Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi had survived an assassination attempt by an attack by booby-trapped drones, at dawn today, Sunday, on his home in the Green Zone in the center of the capital, Baghdad.
The Ministry of Interior said, "Three planes attacked Al-Kazemi's house and shot down two of them," stressing, "Al-Kazemi was not hurt, but a number of his personal protection members were injured while receiving treatment."
The Interior Ministry pointed out that "the attacking drones were of different sizes," noting that "investigations are underway, and the process of reaching the perpetrators is not difficult."
