Iraq's leaders meet at Al-Abadi's house to defuse the crisis of Al-Kazemi's assassination attempt
Shafaq News/ Informed sources revealed, on Monday, that the house of former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi hosted a meeting that included Iraqi leaders and leaders of political forces in an effort to calm the situation and defuse the crisis of the assassination attempt on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
The sources told Shafaq News Agency, "Both the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, Ministers Mustafa Al-Kazemi and the Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, attended the meeting, in addition to the leaders of the coordination framework."
She added, "The meeting aims to calm the situation in the political arena and accept the results of the elections."
And the sources added, "The meeting was held at the invitation and action of the head of the Alliance of State Forces, Ammar al-Hakim."
In the context, sources spoke about the participation of the head of the negotiating committee in the Sadrist movement, Hassan al-Adari, in the meeting, but the political body of the Sadrist movement quickly denied the presence of any representative of it or the negotiating committee in the coordination framework meeting that was held today.
