A security source revealed to Al Furat News: "The termination of the assignment of Major General Iyad Abdel Hamza from the duties of the Director of Criminal Evidence and his transfer to the Administrative and Professional Inspection Department and the assignment of Brigadier General Firas Thamer."
He added, "The Ministry of Interior has also issued an order ending the assignment of Major General Sabah Al-Shibli from the duties of the director of explosive control and transferring him to the Administrative and Task Force Inspection Department, and assigning Lieutenant-General Abdul-Khaleq Badri the position of Director of the Administrative and Professional Inspection Department, in addition to the duties of the Director of the Minister's Office."
The source indicated that "Major-General Shaker al-Asadi was assigned the position of Assistant Senior Undersecretary, in addition to the assignment of Major General Saad Khalaf Badr as the director of the ministry's operations."
