And Lebanese media reported, "The legal department of the People's Group wants to reform the system represented by lawyers Hassan Bazzi, Pierre Al-Haddad, Najib Farhat, Joseph, Anis, Malak Hamiyah, Pierre Gemayel, Ali Klot, Jean-Pierre Khalifa, Basil Abbas, Tariq Ezzo, Muhammad Lama and Hanan Jawad. Register No. 4060/ 2022 dated 3/22/2022 against all those who appear in the investigation from banks, legal and natural persons for the crimes of illicit enrichment, money laundering, breach of trust, violating the provisions of the monetary and credit law, and violating administrative decisions, against the background of what is known as “President Saddam Hussein” frozen funds. which are estimated at billions of dollars.
And she added, "This money was placed in Lebanese banks in the names of loyalists to the former Iraqi regime, and information was available about the use of these deposits in banking operations in Lebanon, then it evaporated due to the crisis that hit the banking sector in Lebanon, and it is expected that decisive decisions will be issued against the banks that may prove her involvement in this file.” Ended 29/H
