Earth News / The leader of the Kurdish Change Movement and former MP, Hoshyar Abdullah, called today, Monday, for the bloc's negotiations to include re-electing the presidency of the Council again.
Abdullah wrote in a post on “Twitter” followed by Earth News, “ Since this parliamentary session only completed the election of the parliament’s presidency, and given the great sensitivity and incompatibility between the president and the first deputy, it is necessary that the negotiations of the blocs include the re-election of the presidency of the Council again.”
She asks Abdullah, "The Alliance to Save a Homeland, if they cannot agree on the administration of Parliament, how will they save the country?!"
Al-Halbousi’s office issued a circular to members of the House of Representatives regarding the term “the Presidency” stating that “the term is canceled and is never used, based on Articles 54 and 55 of the Constitution and according to Federal Court decisions No. (87/Federal/2010). ) and the number (605 / federal / 2022)”.
This uncle of Al-Halbousi received a response from his deputy, Al-Zamili, in documents issued by his office that “the texts of Articles (8/Second) and (9) of the bylaws related to the Presidency of the House of Representatives are consistent with the provisions of the Constitution and do not conflict with it nor with the exclusive powers of the Speaker of the House of Representatives that he specified. The Constitution, and that the decision of the Federal Court referred to in the aforementioned circular did not include the text of the unconstitutionality of these articles or their repeal.
Mishaan al-Jubouri warned, earlier, of the disintegration of the "Save the Homeland" alliance due to Zamili's conflict with al-Halbousi and his insistence that he was part of a presidency and not a vice president, if al-Sadr did not intervene.
