The Ministry of Oil announced, on Tuesday, the total oil exports and revenues generated for the month of last March, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).
The ministry's media office said in a statement received by Mawazine News that "the quantity of crude oil exports amounted to 100 million and 579 thousand and 612 barrels, with revenues of 10 billion and 913 million and 197 thousand dollars," noting that "the average price per barrel amounted to (108,503) dollars. ".
He added, "The total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of March from oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 99,130,677 barrels, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through Ceyhan port were 1,448,935 barrels."
He pointed out, "Achieving additional revenues from the sale of quantities of shipments of crude oil exported at a price premium, as the total revenue amounted to (273,804.794) million dollars," continuing that "the exported quantities were loaded by 34 international companies of different nationalities, from the southern ports and buoys. unilateral on the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.
