Earth News/ The National Data Center, in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, discussed today, Tuesday, with representatives of the Health Insurance Authority in the Ministry of Health, the mechanisms for launching the electronic platform for the health insurance system project in Iraq.
In a statement received by Earth News, during the meeting held at the headquarters of the National Data Center, Hussam Muhammad Jaber, a member of the advisory team of the e-Government Committee, confirmed, "The center's readiness to implement project support requirements, and prepare the infrastructure for the electronic system, as well as the adoption of the national data center staff to create Technical and technical aspects of launching the registration platform in the electronic system and issuing electronic identities for the insured.”
For their part, representatives of the Health Insurance Authority stressed “the necessity of fulfilling all requirements for launching the platform in the month of August of this year in three governorates as a first stage, in order to gradually expand to include all governorates.”
In addition, the meeting identified a number of recommendations, “most notably agreeing on the timing for the completion of the work of the first phase represented by the platform for registering the content and issuing their identities.”
