A high-ranking delegation from the National Union headed by Bafel Talabani arrives in Baghdad and enters a meeting of the framework
Shafaq News/ A high-level delegation from the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by party leader Bafel Jalal Talabani, arrived this morning, Tuesday, in the capital, Baghdad.
Last week, Bafel Talabani, headed by a high-level delegation from his party, visited Baghdad and held a series of meetings and political meetings with Iraqi parties.
And media close to the party stated that the visit of the delegation headed by Talabani comes in conjunction with the recent developments resulting from the resignation of members of the Sadrist movement in the Iraqi parliament under the direction of their leader Muqtada al-Sadr.
Meanwhile, a well-informed political source told Shafak News Agency, that a meeting of the coordination framework with the "Azm" coalition, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, the "Babylon" movement and the independents has started in the office of the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to discuss the latest developments in the political situation.
The source added that the meeting will discuss ways of political openness to the rest of the political forces to expedite the formation of the new federal government.
