After “Al-Maliki’s Recordings” .. Sheikh “Bani Malik” issues a response to Al-Sadr’s call
Shafaq News/ The general sheikh of the Bani Malik clan, Abd al-Salam Muhsin al-Armash called, on Monday evening, to keep the original Iraqi clans away from political debates and conflicts, while denouncing any abuse directed at religious, national and clan symbols.
In a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, Sheikh Al-Armash stressed the need not to include clans in political debates in a way that goes beyond their role and during its long history filled with images of quelling strife, reforming relations, serving society and maintaining civil and social peace.
Sheikh Al-Maliki added, “The attempts of those who seek to sow discord and mix papers are but one of the episodes of conspiracy against Iraq, after they failed several times previously thanks to the wisdom of the country’s loyal men who are keen on Iraqi blood, and it seems that this disturbed some and would not be in the interest of his projects. The malicious tried to exploit the country’s political conditions, the competition and the differences between the political parties and the differences of opinion, which did not reach the stage of spoiling the friendly.”
Al-Armash warned of the necessity of “giving priority to the national interest,” calling on everyone to “show a spirit of brotherhood in order to miss the opportunity for the enemies of Iraq, and for religious symbols to remain in their position and deserved role, which is trusted, respected and appreciated by all, capable of patriarchy for all of us.”
He urged everyone to "work to miss the opportunity of evil stalkers in Iraq, and to keep the clans as a safety valve, and that their role does not go beyond matters that cause tension and division among their sons because of their differing political affiliations, but they are keen to respect the religious constants and their symbols."
Earlier on Monday, the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, demanded the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to quit the political process and surrender himself, following the leaked audio recordings attributed to the latter.
Al-Sadr called, in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account, to “extinguish the strife through a joint denunciation by the leaders of the blocs allied with him on the one hand, and by his clan’s seniors on the other hand, adding: “And that the condemnation is not limited to accusing me of collaborating with Israel or accusing me of By killing Iraqis, and even more importantly, he is attacking the Iraqi security forces and accusing the popular crowd of cowardice and inciting (Shiite-Shiite) strife and strife.
Recorded audio leaks, transmitted by social networking sites, were said to be by Al-Maliki, which show an unprecedented attack by the latter against Al-Sadr and leaders in the Popular Mobilization, as well as an attack on parties and political forces, the army, the police and a number of countries.
Al-Maliki denied, in a tweet on Twitter, published yesterday, Sunday, the leaked audio recordings, saying: All counterfeiting and fabrications will not affect my relationship with building our armed forces and the Popular Mobilization, as they are both the protectors of the homeland and the safety valve of the political process.
