    National News Center/ Baghdad
Today, Sunday, Baghdad Governorate announced the size of its financial allocations from the emergency support law to finance projects in various sectors, stressing that the delay in approving the budget caused a deficit in financing ongoing projects.
The director of general planning in the governorate, Abdul Rahim Karim Owaid, said, in an interview with the National News Center, that "all projects will be funded within the emergency support program that includes the areas of municipalities, water, sewage, municipal affairs, education, health, sports, youth and roads."
He added, "The allocations of Baghdad Governorate within the food security and emergency support program are 1,241 billion and 1,1998,458 dinars."
He stressed that “the delay in approving the budget, caused a deficit in financing the ongoing projects,” calling for “the speedy approval of it so that it can strengthen the doors of the ongoing projects and avoid stopping them.”
