    Baghdad / Al-Mawrid News
Today, Wednesday, the Central Bank of Iraq and the United Nations discussed the financial and economic conditions and their development in the interest of Iraq.
The Central Bank said in a statement, "The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mustafa Ghaleb Mukhif, received, today, Wednesday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, and during the meeting, the financial and economic conditions were discussed and developed in the interest of Iraq."

The governor stressed, according to the statement, that "the Central Bank of Iraq launched development initiatives that amounted to (18) trillion dinars, which contributed to moving the wheel of the Iraqi economy, and provided thousands of job opportunities."
He added, "The bank is performing its roles defined by law and is continuing to provide initiatives to support government trends in providing job opportunities for young people and achieving their goals to implement their projects," noting "the need to advance the financial and banking sector in line with international standards."
